THE PARIS REFUND

In the year 2005 the federal government successfully negotiated a debt free relief package of approximately $18bn. Nigeria was required to pay $12bn within a stipulated time, but the FG decided to deduct the money from state governments allocation in an attempt to pay back the loan. the federal government recently started returning the money to states.
