Braking News: Academic activities has been suspended for 2 weeks by the school authority. The suspension was announced yesterday by ASUU. Chairman CRUTECH chapter during an impromptu briefing held between the union and the students.
Students of the University reacts to the situation.
JANE MARTINS BASSEY, a 300 level Mass Comm. student of Cross Rivers University of Tech. CRUTECH.
According to her the 2 weeks Suspension is as a result of student not being able to pay their school fees on time, she also added that it will also enable students to find means to pay their fees.
ONUMAEGBU C. PROSPER (EMSA PRESIDENT) a 400 level Estate Mgt. student of CRUTECH says: I am not surprise because our V.C will never postponed resumption, but will always postponed exams, Although i was disappointed because after shifting the exam from 27th March to 3rd April, he still has to postponed for two weeks.
but one thing is clear Prof. Anthony Owan Enoh loves the student so very much that's why i am not blaming him, he must have done everything within his power to stop the warning strike but i see it is not in is powers. I think it will help the student to prepare for their up coming exams.
If i were the V.C i will just plead with ASUU, at least at the end of 2 weeks my student should resume and also plead with the government council to release money for staff salary payment and equally encourage students to pay of there school fees.
We should all remain calm everything is under control.
